Now, I’ve seen every home TV setup and I hope I can
help you out today. 

I’ve narrowed it down to three popular options my clients
have been using to avoid Cable TV.

All these options work with a simple internet
connection. 

Option #1 – For Smart TVs

If you own a newer Smart TV your in luck.  You might have
the best options of all. 

The following free TV streaming apps can
be found on most Smart TVs.

Tubi (100+ Channels)
Pluto TV (250+ Channels)
Tivify (80 Channels)
Plex (100+ Live Channels)
Vudu (120 Channels)
Xumo (190 Channels)
Redbox Free Live (100 Channels)
Peacock (NBC Programs)
PBS kids (Kids Programs)

Also Most TV brands have their own FREE TV streaming.

Just grab your remote and goto your “HOME” menu

Then choose their app….

-For Samsung TVs choose app “Samsung TV Plus“

-For Sony TV choose app “Bravia Core Streaming“

-For LG Smart TVs choose app “LG Channels“

-For Vizio TVs choose app “Watch Free TV“

Option #2 – For Older TVs

Older models may not have apps and digital channels, but 
there are options to viewing local news, sports and good
entertainment. 

These options work by plugging a device into your HDMI port
or coaxial input. 

Digital Antennas

Honestly, I’ve only seen these antennas work
two three times since I’ve been installing TVs.  I have two antennas
myself, collecting dust in a closet. 

I recently help a client Lo install a digital antenna. He received 50 plus channels and access to Channel 9 News, which is really popular in Chicago. He also will be enjoying Monday Night Football with the local Fox Network.

Not bad for a $30 investment…

Roku 

I love Roku, because the menu is easy to navigate and there are
plenty of channels.  Its also very kid friendly and low tech to use.

Amazon Firestick 

Visually, I think the Firestick is looks great. Plenty of apps and
channels.  However, I find it less easy to navigate.

Of course there are other options like Apple TV, Chromcast and

Option #3 – Techies And Movie Enthusiast

The next option is for those who…

Live on the fringe of society…

Those Who Eat Taco Bell before a road trip…

With….

…their mother in-law in the backseat…

The next option is called an…

Android Box

This box looks like a normal media device.  The box allows you to
stream new movies and shows through a private VPN.  

In simple terms…

For those raised in the 90s think…  “Napster or LimeWire”
If your apart of the iPhone generation think…   “Bit Torrent”

The device searches the internet for filesharing content.  You can
stream current movies, tv shows and special
programming(HBO, Showtime, etc) all while protecting
your identity(Internet IP).  

I’ve seen this device maybe two times and I’m pretty sure it requires 
technical skills to program. 

Hopefully theses option can help you to get rid of your cable  and 
get some great entertainment options.

AAhhh… The eb and flow of life.

One day your eating mango sorbet enjoy the sun … the next minute your phone is flooded with calls asking “What happen to your website?” ” Where is your Instagram?“

Ironically, last month my doctor’s orders were to cutdown on stress and salt.
For me that meant avoiding the industrial bag of fries from Five Guys and letting the calls from my brother go to voicemail.

But enter August…

I know… I’m rambling…

The only good thing about this month is… I didn’t accept the crate challenge.

Last week, I got a message from my assistant saying he couldn’t access the Instagram account.

Upon further investigation, Instagram disabled our account for repeatedly posting same content via IG stories. Stuff happens. We will be appealing the decision.

Hola

I’m written you from a warm and sunny location😊.

After 4 years of installing TVs, soundbars, fireplaces and more.  I finally jumped on a plane and took a small getaway from  the 8° Chicago weather. 

Its 79° Weather here in Las Vegas and I’m getting all the sunshine I can. No casinos this time, just family and fun.

In the opening credits

The lead actor , who plays the Hulk’s alter ego, is caught in a thunderstorm.

And to make matters worst…

He is stuck changing a flat tire.

After minutes of fumbling around with a tire jack

He is done, angry, to his limit 😠

Strangley…

Forgive me father,  it’s been 3 months since my last confession.  

Really… I feel guilty. I haven’t written in this blog in months.  I’ve been so busy. 

I just want to thank you all for your support and allowing me in your homes.  I really appreciate the opportunity to serve you.  I must admit, I really enjoy the challenge of each TV install.  

Last Saturday, I took a trip near Rockford Illinois for a fireplace TV installation.  The installation turned out so good, I felt like “The salt chef😎”. 

So recently, we began submitting donations to the Corner Stone Outreach Program.   The program assists homeless families rebuild their lives.   As a result, we will give a portion of each TV install to help with shelter and counseling for those in need.  I want you all to be a part of this process.   So I’ll update you via this blog.

Yesterday, while sitting on a restaurant patio guzzling tacos, the world almost seems normal.  People laughing, music playing, debates about Lebron or Jordan, but an industrial size bottle of hand sanitizer brought me back to reality.

2020 has been a heck of a year, pandemics, riots, murder hornets, killer dust storms. and the anal-probing aliens haven’t even landed yet.  🏃🏃🏃 But seriously…  We need each other or community for our own sanity. We need to connect and be apart of something bigger.

Last week I was invited out to a nice home in Dolton IL. The young lady had a nice color palette and

After a small conversation, I realized she had two concerns:

1 – She wanted the TV mounted out of reach of a small child

2 – She requested no wires showing

And most of my clients have the same concerns, so I would like to address these concerns.

Here’s the before and after Photos of that TV Installation.

First lets address the issue of safety, Placing a Tv on a traditional stand is hazard to small children.

I strongly urge parents to add mounting Tvs to child proofing your home.

Secondly, Anyone who has spent hours picking out furniture, paint and home décor only to see wires dangling in your living-room, should be disappointed.

There are many options to concealing your TV wires and getting a clean install. Best advice is to contact us for your options.

Hey Guys and Girls

We’re in some very interesting times. Last nite, I almost had to tackle a guy over a 64 pack of toilet paper. 😜I’m kidding

But this is something most of us haven’t experienced, but its affecting everyone.

Last month, my son basketball season was cancelled. It was his last year in school. He took it very hard.

Again, this situation is effecting everyone in some way. We just have to be patience and let things work out.

Ironically..

In a society where we admire the celebrities and athletes, the real heroes have turned out to be the policemen, truck drivers, logistics teams, nurses, doctors and grocery store workers.

They are keeping our communities sane and together. Thanks you & salute

Also I see people checking on the elderly and collecting money for those who need it.

Amazing how we rise to the occasion to help others, despite what we see on the news.
